Day 1 - My hCG Experience

Today M and I met with the wonderful staff at Medical Spa LaCost here in Astoria, Oregon.

We talked, asked questions, presented our medical history and bloodwork, after we were ok'd for the hCG we were given instruction on how to inject the hCG (Even had to do it in front of them to prove we were listening LOL), our supplies for the week and an info packet. Off we went! Of course M didn't do much listening hoping that I was, aww love... isn't it grand?!

Anyhow, so this is Day 1, the injections do NOT hurt, I was worried about that, but I can't even feel the needle going in! Today was a little weird and some what vague, you see there are protocols that must be followed while on hCG and in the maintenance period but very little of this information is available, to the point that I have to wonder if you aren't just flying by the seat of your pants while you do this!

The packet that we received did have a list of do's & don'ts and a small sample grocery list, but it was far from all inclusive, and it is that lack of information received and readily available which inspired this blog, my plan is to share my story, simple as that. I want to share with my readers more information than has been supplied to me! Do's, Don'ts, what to buy, recipes and more!

If you would like to see a list of protocols (the ones that I am aware of) please see my hCG Protocol page
